Established in 2015

Springs of Living Water is a Christian Fellowship based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado, training and discipling here locally and in other parts of the World such as, India, Nepal, Africa, England, Macedonia, Albania, Columbia, and other strategic relationships around the World.

In 2014 a group of Disciple Makers began meeting at the Jericho Center at Every Home for Christ, in Colorado Springs, CO, praying for more Workers into the Harvest, and praying for the local churches, pastors, and ministries, to fulfill the Great Commission, to "Make Disciples", out of which time the Lord prophetically called them out to be "Springs of Living Water", on November 11, 2014.  It was over the course of the next year that Pastor Ryan unsuccessfully pursued the idea of a church plant, until God gave him a name of a young local youth pastor to ask about using their church's building for a Saturday morning service, which resulted in "Springs of Living Water" being planted in November of 2015, focused on the ministry of Biblical Discipleship.

Our Ministry Calling

18 And Isaac dug again the wells of water that had been dug in the days of Abraham his father, which the Philistines had stopped after the death of Abraham. And he gave them the names that his father had given them . . . 24 And the Lord appeared to him . . . and said, “I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham's sake.” 25 So he built an altar there and called upon the name of the Lord and pitched his tent there. And there Isaac's servants dug a well.

The Ministry Calling, as read in Genesis 26:12-25, where Isaac was asking the Shepherds of the Land if he could unearth the Wells his father Abraham had dug for Living Water, that the Enemy had covered over, causing the land to be barren, to bring Life back to the Land with Springs of Living Water, but would only do it to those Wells that the Shepherds allowed Isaac to unearth; thus the Ministry Calling and our name, "Springs of Living Water".  

Our Team

Ryan Roberts
Pastor

A pastor of 20+ years, Ryan started his pastoral ministry in the small town of Abilene, KS, where he was a Youth Pastor before being accepted to L.I.F.E. Bible College in southern California. It was in Bible College that he and a team of five others started their first church plant, which still flourishes today, and where he met his wife Karen. Ryan has served the Lord, bi-vocationally, in a variety of leadership development roles within new church plants, early church start-ups, and well-established ministries in California and Colorado.  Currently he pastor's Springs of Living Water and President of Key 2 Changes, a Domestic and International Discipleship Ministry.

Since 1994, Ryan has also shared in the ministry with his step-father, Mike, in training and equipping disciples in the work of the ministry through the teachings of Jesus. This has resulted in many lives being transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ. His heart is to ultimately wake-up a sleeping church.

Brandon Shirkey
Co-Pastor

Co-Pastor of Spring of Living Water since its conception, Brandon is a seasoned leader, with over 10 years of prior ministry experience as a Youth/Young Adults Pastor and Worship Leader.  A Disciple Maker himself, he brings the knowledge of the Word along with the passion for Disciple Making into a Prophetic Spirit of Worship as he leads this Faith filled group in the heart of Worship to reach our city, our state, our nation, and the world, as he himself walks this amazing faith walk out in his own personal life.

With his wife of 15 years and three teenage daughters, Brandon brings his own heart as a husband and father into to his charge to the Church to Re-unite with their Spiritual Husband and Father, the Lord Jesus Christ.   It is with this heart that Brandon's own relationship with his Heavenly Father transfers over in a very infectious way as he leads others into the Presence of God.

Bi-vocationally a Financial Consultant of over 10 years, Brandon too brings the spiritual perspective and importance of investing in the Kingdom of God as our first priority.

Michael Gibson

Legacy LINK

Upon coming to faith in Jesus Christ at age 33, Michael Gibson earnestly wanted someone to disciple him in the faith. Finding no one . . . he became a student and then teacher of God’s word.

One statement in particular, captured his attention, “Go . . . make disciples . . . baptizing them . . . teaching them to observe all that I commanded you.” (Mt 28:19-20) From that he wrote his first book, “Follow Me” (1996), a compilation of the four gospels into one account while highlighting each of the 263 instructions Jesus commanded His disciples to do and teach. Subsequently, he has written the three-part teaching series, “A Journey with Jesus” and many other books which help equip believers to do the work of the ministry.
