Hebrews 12:13 states:
And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

The context for this passage is the writer of Hebrews encouraging the believers to remain on the "straight path" of holiness and righteousness towards God, not allowing the weaker aspects of our walk with Him to turn us "out of the way." But notice the writer gives hope regarding those lame and weaker parts of us - it can be healed. How? By maintaining course and continually walking the straight path - that of holiness and righteousness towards God.

As the writer continues his thoughts on the matter, he reminds us of the mighty shaking of the voice of God at Mount Sinai, but in verse 25:
See that ye refuse NOT him that speaketh.

Meaning the Lord! Because His Word is the straight Way, it is the Truth, it is LIFE! The shaking is reminiscent of threshing wheat and removing the chaff. In verse 27, we're told it is so that
those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Yes, our God is a consuming fire (v. 29)! He will burn up the chaff, that which is useless and evil. But if we walk the straight path and not stray due to our own lameness, we shall overcome, and His fire will not consume us in wrath, but will purify us as refined gold. See you on the sabbath!

Please remember through this commitment to Making Disciples, and ultimately our commitment to God to fulfilling His Great Commission in our lives, it is a commitment to the commandment, trusting God will add to it and us daily. Again, God gives us a picture of Discipleship through child raising. Raising a child does not stop when we conceive, does not stop when we give birth, does not stop when the child begins to walk and speak, does not stop when our child completes his education, but continues until our child begins to have children (the ultimate picture of Disciple Making). In like manner, Disciple Making does not stop ever, but begins to bear fruit when those we are Discipling have been fully trained and begin Making Disciples themselves. The more Disciples we fully train who begin to Make Disciples, the more our world is changed upside down, starting with the Disciple themselves and their lives changing the lives immediately around them. For Jesus, it was 3 1/2 years with 12 Disciples, and ultimately 120, as we see in the upper room on Pentecost, and within 30 years, as we read in Acts 17:6, the Roman Empire recognized that these men and women, Jesus' Disciples, had turned the known world upside down. It will be out of your Disciple Making that there will be those, both men and women, who will Make Disciples more effectively than you have, and may even Make more Disciples than you ever have, which is when we experience, as Disciple Makers, increasing joy beyond measure. That is the Great Commission. Do not loose hope and enjoy the Journey with Jesus, and you teach your Disciples to also enjoy the Journey with Jesus, as its result will turn our worlds upside down, immediately in our own lives, then those immediately around us, and ultimately the world. Be encouraged, each lesson and and each Disciple you invest in is a seed of world change that fulfills the Great Commission. - Ryan

Hosea 2:14-23
The Lord's Mercy on Israel
14 “Therefore, behold, I will allure her,
and bring her into the wilderness,
    and speak tenderly to her.
15 And there I will give her her vineyards
and make the Valley of Achor (trouble) a door of hope.
And there she shall answer as in the days of her youth,
as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt.
16 “And in that day, declares the Lord, you will call me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer will you call me ‘My Baal.’
17 For I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, and they shall be remembered by name no more.

Dearest Allies, I have heard much mention over the last year, increasing in frequency and intensity in recent months and weeks, of a need for revival in America and in the Church. The leaders of the Church are praying and asking God for it. They are even being so bold as to prophetically speak it out. I do hope for revival as well, but I'll be honest, I don't think we will see the kind of revival we're asking for.
The impression I've received from most all Christian leaders is a hope for a revival that will lead to greater numbers in America turning back to God and joining the Church. For one, I don't see how that lines up with our times and what Scripture says about them. Secondly, I don't hear much talk about what brings revival (to be fair, there has been some). You see, God is a good Father, giving us what we need, not simply what we want. We want a revival, yet we want to keep doing this following God thing in our own way, not His.
Let's start with acknowledging our current situation. Much of the Christian leaders are speaking out to the social, cultural, and even political arena believing addressing those will bring about the desired revival. Does not judgment begin at the house of God first (1 Peter 4:17)? America does not have as much a political problem, a racial problem, a civil liberties problem, or social constructs problem, as it does a spiritual problem. America is spiritually sick - we have removed God and His Word from the public arena, from government, from schools. How can we expect these arenas to change when we as the Church are unwilling to change ourselves? Are not we supposed to be the light in the darkness, the example of right-living amidst a world gone wrong? Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:12 that our battle is not against flesh blood but instead is against the principalities and spiritual forces of this dark world. So if we choose to battle the flesh in the flesh, we are fighting the wrong battle, and that from a position of weakness, not strength. Which leads me to my next point...
Dare I say it, the Church is spiritually sick as well. It is filled with watered down and compromised messages, spirit-less worship, powerless leaders and members walking contrary to the commands of God and Jesus, being more concerned about appealing to the culture and world with its sermons, aesthetics, programs, and even attire than walking in holiness, righteousness and truth, holding our brothers and sisters accountable, adhering to God and His Word. How can we with one breath worship the Creator of all things seen and unseen and in the next insist that obedience [to Him, bending our will to His] is a four-letter word?! Here it is, Church,...here is how you bring about what you are deeply desiring - repentance before revival. Stop doing it your way and begin doing it God's way...in the manner of the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Revival is the after-effect, the fruit. Praying for revival only is putting the cart before the horse, counting your chickens before they hatch, however you want to say it. The root of the issue must be addressed first. And this is where I see the Lord bringing a different kind of revival...
Before I explain, can we agree that we are right on the edge of the last days? Scripture is clear that there will not be a revival of a burst of enormous growth of the Church in the last days. Could there be some growth? Certainly. But Jesus Himself said there will be a great falling away from the faith in those days, not growth (Matthew 24:10 - the word used at the end of the verse means apostatize, to fall away). Instead, the revival that I believe will occur, will be that of depth, not breadth. The roots of the true Church will grow deeper, not necessarily broader. And just as fire removes the impurities from gold and other precious metals, so too promised (yes,...promised) persecution in the last days will separate the wheat from the chaff and reveal the true followers of Christ, the authentic Church, as He refers to it - the remnant.
Yes, we want revival, we even need it at a time like this. But let us set our focus on that which will more readily bring about that revival. Let us focus our attention within, not without. So hope for revival, but pray for repentance...beginning first with ourselves. See you on the sabbath! Your Brother in Christ,
Brandon

What does it mean to Walk with God?

Excerpts from the Video above and referenced Video LINK below:
Highlight #3:Biblical Faith From Within is Beyond Doubt
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdNHgByzcpw

“Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.” Genesis 6:9

“When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, ‘I am God Almighty;
walk before me, and be blameless,’”
Genesis 17:1

What does it mean to Walk with God?

It does not mean to have the intellectual understanding of the workings of God. No, I am walking with God . . . is like a dance . . . What does that mean?

(defined) Torah law is the same word for Walk, Jewish law is not called any of the legal terms; Jewish law is called “the walk” . . . here we uncover the essences of Faith as it should be understood and lived according the Scriptures. . . to live with faith is no only to live in action, but it is to live faithfully . . .

. . . (the root of faith is) Emunah “Faith”, Emun “Practice”, Ne’eman “Loyalty” . . . Biblical faith directs us towards a living relationship with God, that’s the essence of Covenant; in relatinoships there is moments of intimacy, there is moments of distance, highs, lows, relationship is real, its dynamic, but to walk with God, to be wholehearted is to be “loyal” in our encounter with God.  We like touch the ultimate good.  We align ourselves with that Vision, in that direction, and then the walk begins.  One step at a time.  We do not have all the answers. There is so much unknown, so much mystery, but we are always given enough to take the next step . . .

Let’s look at the word “Israel”. Inside the word “Israel” is “struggle”, but the word itself “Israel” is made up of two words, one is “Straight” and then you have “God”, so think about what that is saying to us, what is it to live by the faith of Israel; it is to put God up in front of our Vision, and then “Straight”, we have a path, we have our eyes set on the Kingdom of God, our highest ideals, our values that will never be corrupted, we will . . . live out our lives with Laser like Focus, “Straight” ahead.

The default of this world is struggle, and the definition of Israel is to “Struggle and to Prevail”, we have the keys, how to persevere in the hard times and prevail . . . we have been gifted . . . “Israel” . . . we are going to be challenged and pushed to the ends of our limits and beyond; and that seems to be one of the fundamental purposes of life . . . to grow beyond ourselves, in the struggle I become more than who I am, maybe that is the purpose here, to become more than who you are . . . that is why Israel is called “to embrace the struggle, to embody the struggle”, when you prevail you emerge triumphed, you emerge greater and stronger.  A life of Faith is not something that you can just casually say, “I believe” . . . that is not going to last, Biblical “Faith”, you contend with the world, you struggle with the world, you struggle towards God, you struggle with yourself, and in the struggle you discover your strength, you discover your character, your inner value, you discover yourself; the challenges of life are going to hit us and there is nothing we can do about that, but in confronting the suffering of life, you can do something honorable, admirable, knowable, worthy, glorious, powerful, helpful, upright . . . right there, that is the light of Israel . . . in that struggle you can bring the light of those amazing gifts to the world.  Faith is not trying to convince yourself of the existence of a transcendent power that you can believe in . . . that is a cognitive approach to faith, that is the approach to solving a scientific problem.  The prophets were not scientists . . .  I do not believe that I love God, I live my love for God, and out of my loyalty, and action a deeper relationship is developed.  Faith is a life committed to action, to love . . . a covenant  . . . God makes a covenant with us. . . a covenant is a commitment . . . to be committed in practice, in action, to be loyal in your life, that is the root of what the word means, it means “Loyal”, it is to be loyal to the internal calling inside of you . . . there is a calling inside of all of us . . . God’s law is written in our heart if we just open it up and look in . . .

What did Abraham have, “a Calling”, a move away from organized religion, and it is a return to a relationship, a return to a simple pure wholehearted “walk with God” . . . walking and living in alignment with God . . . with the highest ideal you could imagine . . . that is BiblicalFaith . . . to live life with love as your driving force, with unshakable character, and the courage of Joshua to struggle and prevail and conquer the land of Israel . . .

. . . we have no idea how much power you will discover in your walk through life as you start aiming towards the higher good, and in pursuit of your highest self, and in pursuit of the ultimate good, that’s where you will find the meaning in your life, when you start living with character, and you start walking with God aligned with your ideals, good things will happened, you will be blessed . . .

. . . that does not always mean you’re going to succeed in every endeavor or in every project, but Committed, living Committed to “walking with God”, ensures that every day in pursuit of that goal you will be blessed, even if the goal is never accomplished.  Everyone needs to take a strategy of how they are going to live life, this is the Biblical Strategy, this is the “Biblical Walk”, to walk uncompromisingly, “Straight with God” . . . that is the Deeper Meaning of the Biblical Promise:

“He who Blesses Israel will be Blessed” - (meaning) If you live a life committed to manifesting the ultimate good, committed to building Zion, you will attract good into your life, that is the essences of what it means to walking with God.  To live in the Walk.  We have a covenant, and a commitment to the ultimate good.  We have temptations to our right and we have self-doubts to the left, and Biblical Faith is to walk in alignment with that Vision no matter.  That is the essence of loyalty to the King.

And as we come closer to fulfilling our destiny; our destiny’s intertwine collectively, believers from around the world come together and we share these ideas, that this is not about religion, I mean religion, I guess, is what brought us together to right to the very edge of the land of Israel, right to the edge of the desert, right to the very edge of this new stage in world history. What is that next stage, the Law is going to be written on our hearts.  What does that mean?  It is a mistake to say that this is a prophecy that has already been fulfilled, it must be fulfilled again, it must be fulfilled in our generation.  That’s the message.  Open your heart.  There is lika a place inside of you that is calling you to be a higher being, and if all of us hear that calling, if all of us live by that, we manifest a joint destiny that all of us are collected to.  From the mountains of Judea to the Colorado Rocky’s, it’s like one destiny, a House of Prayer for all Nations, that will be a Blessing for all Nations.  So, “to walk with God”, may our Walk direct us to that ultimate Prophetic Vision.

. . . So, in these times of struggle, and we think about where we have come from . . . to live the day that we would be able to share the Torah with the World.  To bring us to the next stage in Biblical History, the next stage in Biblical Prophecy.  And here we are rebuilding the virtual house of prayer . . . as you have chosen to . . aligned with His purpose, aligned with His land, aligned with his Torah, may we all walk whole heartedly with God, all the way to a new rebuild Jerusalem . . .

Thoughts on the Torah Portion – Parashat Devarim
Deuteronomy 1:1-3:22

From Tehila Gimpel

The Land of Israel Fellowship LINK

Hi everyone! This week, we begin reading the final, fifth book of the Torah, the book of Devarim (Deuteronomy), starting with the Torah portion of the same name. This marks the transition from the first four books, spoken by God, to the last book which records Moshe's final speech to the nation of Israel.

Throughout the book, we will notice a lot of review of stories and commandments discussed in previous books of the Torah. In fact, the book is often referred to in Hebrew as "Mishneh Torah" – literally, second Torah, and the name "Deuteronomy" also translates as second law. However, there are some subtle differences both in the narratives and the laws, with Moshe adding special emphases or details varying slightly from earlier presentations. This is often attributed to the fact that Moshe was speaking to a new, young generation, poised to enter the Land. He needed to review the experiences, lessons, and rules that were needed to prepare the nation for the new stage they were about to begin. Some of these differences between Devarim and previous books can be quite interesting, and I hope to discuss some of these in the future.

That being said, there is still something a bit curious about this book. If in fact it is a record of Moshe's speech, why include it in the Torah – the direct word of Hashem? While of course Moshe was speaking through prophecy, these are nonetheless words that he spoke. Would it not be more appropriate to include the book of Deuteronomy in the "Prophets" section of the Bible, rather than grouping it together with the rest of the Torah?

Rabbi Tzadok Hakohen of Lublin, the great Hassidic master, noted that throughout the book of Devarim, there is a word that repeats itself again and again in Moshe's speech: "Hayom" – meaning, today, or "on this day". Don’t just take his word for it, check it out for yourselves. Time and again throughout the book, whenever Moshe reviews the commandments, he emphasizes that he is telling them to the nation "today". For example, when repeating the 10 commandments in chapter 5, he opens with: "Hear o Israel, the statues and the ordinances which I speak in your ears this day, that you may learn them, and that you may observe to do them." The examples throughout the book are plentiful.

What is the significance of emphasizing that he is speaking "today"? Why, of course he was speaking to the people "that day", when else could he have been speaking to them, tomorrow?! Rabbi Tzadok teaches that he wasn't just speaking to the people of that time and place. He was speaking to all of us, in every time and place. The Torah is spoken to us, in truth, every day. It is a living Torah, to be understood and re-understood in every individual life. Historically, the nations have mocked Israel as living "under the Law". However, this very wording is a deep misunderstanding of Torah. When the Torah describes the laws, it most often uses the term "mitzvah." Mitzvah does not mean law, but literally translates as "commandment". The difference, as pointed out by Franz Rosenzweig, is subtle but nonetheless significant. A law is something that is written in a book, and is basically set in stone. The lawmaker may be long gone, and the people who elected him dead as well. As long as the law is in the law books, it stands unchanged, frozen in time. A commandment is different. The very word implies a relationship. There is a giver and receiver of the command. Whereas a law is dead, a commandment is a living dialogue. Moshe is teaching, by emphasizing that the commandments are being given "today", that we remain in an ongoing relationship with Hashem, opening our hearts to His guidance in an ever growing and developing understanding.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons that the book of Devarim was important enough to be counted within the Torah, as it was teaching a fundamental lesson about the Torah itself. Had the Torah been completed in the first four books, it may have become just a "law". By including Moshes prophetic – but still human – rendition of the Torah, as he saw to be most relevant to the generation before him, Hashem was teaching us that indeed the Torah is a living fountain and not a historic fossil, to be heard through our renewed study each and every day. This is the secret to the endurance of the Torah. While other ancient "laws" are long gone, the Torah continues to guide our lives. Even as times and circumstances change, the Divine wisdom of the Torah continues to unfold and be revealed throughout the generations.

Perhaps this Shabbat is a nice opportunity to meditate on the meaning of "commandment," and how a living relationship with Hashem and the Torah can be built and maintained each and every day.

Shabbat Shalom!

AN URGENT PROPHETIC ALERT AND WARNING 🚨
Released on June 1, 2020
Jeremiah Johnson Ministries

Dear Saints and Leaders:
On the night of May 30th, while praying and pacing over the United States in my home around 2 am, a demonic entity appeared right before me in an open vision. This type of encounter has only ever happened one other time while I was ministering in a foreign country in 2015. I have always engaged in this type of spiritual warfare while asleep and dreaming prophetically, but rarely if ever to this degree while awake.  This demonic entity had a visible and deep scar underneath its right eye, but it also had the ability to mutate or rather change forms. I watched this “being” morph several times right in front of me, yet the gash below its right eye remained.  It pointed its finger right in my face and said, “I exist to deceive the whole world. Just as there are forerunners in the kingdom of God that go before the Son of Man, so I am a forerunning spirit in the kingdom of darkness that has been sent before the coming of the man of lawlessness.” It continued, “The scar underneath my right eye has come at the hands of the praying Church, for many of them in this hour have begun to detect our true plans and purposes to disrupt systems, divert attention, and release chaos in the land.”

1. Disrupt Systems
2. Divert Attention
3. Release Chaos

At this point in the encounter, the hair on my body was standing straight up as I had never been told anything like this at length by a demonic entity. Suddenly, all I can describe is the authority and mind of Christ came upon me and I pointed my finger back at this demon and demanded, “Who is the source behind your power and influence?” It began to laugh hysterically, a sound that still taunts me and with great rage this demon answered and roared, “The Media!”  I fixed my gaze upon it and said, “You devil that has come to deceive the whole world through the media and is being exposed right now, I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to reveal your agenda!” With a sneer it began to manifest a foul spirit and the first wave I smelled was FEAR. I saw the Coronavirus spreading across the whole world and the spirit of fear attached to it. The second wave of stench the demon manifested was HATE and I saw the cities on fire and racism escalating. The third wave that came was GREED and it was the strongest of all the smells. In that moment of time, by way of Holy Spirit revelation, I understood that what we are witnessing in 2020, beyond a virus and beyond racism and police brutality is a diabolical and sinister agenda called “greed”. A wave of fear has hit through the virus and now a wave of anger through the riots, but the real culprit is greed! In other words, the world is being held hostage right now by demonic forces preparing the way for the man of lawlessness. There is so much deception being spread through the media that now we must understand what we are “seeing” and “hearing” on the news and social media is a simple diversion from the real truth!  I’m telling you right now by the Spirit of God that what is happening in our world today has surpassed a virus, racism, and police brutality and the sooner we recognize what’s really going on, the sooner we can gain the victory!  For those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, we must now begin to target our prayers on the spirit of greed and understand the fight is regarding the finances!  The finances behind the virus! The finances behind the rioting and looting! The finances behind taking down the President!  Millions are being sold a false report. The african american race and their justified pain is being preyed on by an agenda filled with greed! The agenda behind the virus and hopes to vaccinate and dominate is greed!  After this encounter I finally see it like never before!  China. The WHO. George Soros. Bill Gates.  Follow the spirit of greed in this hour and it will not only expose the agenda behind the fear and hate but it will lead you to the freedom only found in TRUTH!

Jesus has not set us free from sin so that we can live lawless lives.  The Word of God even warns that our prayers may not be heard if we are walking in blatant disobedience to God’s laws.
“One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.” Proverbs 28:9

My face: "If you will not hearken to Me, and walk casually with Me; I, too, will act casually with you..." Leviticus 26:28

All sins derive from the sin of insignificance: when a person ceases to be sensitive to the paramount importance which G-d attaches to his life and deeds. "I don't really matter" is not humility--it is the ultimate arrogance. It really means: "I can do what I want."

The most terrible of punishments is for G-d to indulge the sinner this vanity. For G-d to say: "All right, have it your way; what happens to you is of no significance"; for G-d to act toward him as if He really does not care what happens to him.

While dwelling among us, Yeshua (whose name means Salvation) was so concerned with the salvation of sinners that He told a crowd of Galileans gathered to hear His "Sermon on the Mount":

“Pray for those who persecute you, so you may be children of your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:44–45

By praying for those who insult, betray, and slander us, we inherit the supreme blessing of being called God’s children, and we inherit an eternal home where we will be in our Father's love forever.

How do we pray for our enemies?

A story in the Talmud (Rabinic commentaries) gives us some Hebraic insight into how to pray for those who harm us:

“Once there were some bandits living near Reb (Rabbi) Meir who were very troublesome to him.  Reb Meir prayed that they should die.  His wife Beruria said to him, ‘What makes you think a prayer like that is permissible? …  Instead, you should pray for them that they will repent, and then there will be no more wicked.’  Meir prayed for them, and they repented.”  (b. Berachot 10a)

Leading people to repentance is the reason Yeshua came to the Jew first and then to the nations.

So important is repentance that it is the first instruction Yeshua gave as He established His ministry base in Capernaum:

“‘The time is fulfilled,’ He said, ‘and the kingdom of God is near.  Repent and believe in the gospel!’”  (Mark 1:15)

(MessianicBible.com)

“If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.  In doing this,
you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you.”

Proverbs 25:21–22

“To feed an enemy and give him drink was like heaping the empty brazier with live coals—which meant food, warmth and almost life itself to the person or home needing it, and was the symbol of finest generosity.”
(Strange Scriptures that Perplex the Western Mind, by B.M. Bowen, p. 29)

brazier: a fire pan (in Hebrew, ach – אָח) to keep the home warm and to cook simple foods.

We see this Hebraic understanding in a 1903 Bible translation by Ferrar Fenton, a man steeped in the knowledge of ancient languages and literature:  “If your enemy hungers, feed him; If he thirsts, give water to drink, And a fire besides for his needs; And then the LORD will repay you.”

Heaping coals on an enemy's head is, therefore, a metaphor for providing his basic survival needs.

How do we apply that understanding to our lives today?

When a woman in ancient Israel knocked on a neighbor’s door with an empty fire pan, the owners of the home had a choice to make:  keep their coals for themselves, ensuring warmth, cooked meals, and life for their own family, or generously share their coal supply and risk going cold and hungry themselves.

In our own daily lives, the proverb to heap coals on our enemy's head is about finding ways to give life to others, even when we are waging our own personal civil war against them.

After all, “if you love those who love you, what reward will you get?  Are not even the tax collectors doing that?  And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others?  Do not even pagans do that?” (Matthew 5:46)

The apostle Peter also wanted Believers to know that a blessing awaits those who repay evil with kindness:  “Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.”  (1 Peter 3:9)

While God promises rewards for giving this kind of physical and even emotional life to others, He is also concerned with life everlasting - ours and our enemies’.  It is His desire that we lead our enemies to eternal life, which brings with it eternal rewards for both of us.

How do we do that?

May we be so zealous for the salvation of our enemies that we feed them the Word of Life found in the Scriptures and through Yeshua haMashiach (Jesus the Messiah), who is the Word of Life itself . . .

Word to the Church Today.

“Return to the Lord”

Many today are speaking of these times being a precursor of a Great Global Revival, but I believe God is actually preparing His Church for Revival, and that out of the Church’s Revival will come a Last Harvest:

In the "Wilderness" is Where God Speaks

Wednesday, March 11, 2020

“11 . . . know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. 12 The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires." Romans 13:11-14

Obey the Truth Contained in the Gospel

7 when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels 8 in flaming fire,
inflicting vengeance
on those who do not know God
and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, 10 when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints . . .

God is building a life for each one of us that is "Rock Solid".  He wants our gifts shown Brilliantly and with slender.  He wants us to Shine and Sparkle as we are held up to the Light.  Our setting (antimony) is Durable and Mighty and it displays God's Faithfulness to us.  Now that is Antimony!

Antimony: the sense is not that the stones would have fair colors, but that the cement (antimony) which would be used would be that which was commonly employed to make the most valued colors. The structure (antimony) which would be reared would be as costly and magnificent as if the very cement of the stones consisted of the most precious coloring matter; used also for flame proofing material (ex. components and function of the prongs on a Brilliant Wedding Ring).

FOXES SEEN WALKING NEAR THE WESTERN WALL, FULFILLING BIBLICAL PROMISE
According to the biblical prophecy, now that the barren Temple has become a walking ground for foxes, so it will be rebuilt.
BY JERUSALEM POST STAFF - AUGUST 8, 2019 15:10
As the Jewish world is counting the days to the ninth of Av (Tisha Be'Av), the date on which Jews mourn the destruction of the two Temples in Jerusalem following its destruction by the Romans, foxes have been spotted walking near the Western Wall, a press release reported on Thursday.

It is written in the Book of Lamentations (5:18), which is read on Tisha Be'Av, that Mount Zion – where the Temples stood – will be so desolate that “foxes will walk upon it.” The understanding, according to the Talmud in the tractate Makkot (24b), is that if the prophecies of destruction have been fulfilled, so will be the ones by the prophet Zechariah about the Temple being rebuilt.

Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, the Rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Sites, referred to photos of the foxes and commented, “One cannot refrain from crying at the site of the fulfillment of the prophecy of 'foxes will walk on it.'”

INSIGHTS TO "NIGHT SHINES AS DAY"

Matthew 5:14
“YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.”

 John 8:12
“‘I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD; he who follow Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the LIGHT of life.’”

Lights in the World
“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Do everything without complaining or arguing so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, AMONG WHOM YOU APPEAR AS LIGHTS IN THE WORLD.” Philippians 2:12–15
The Seven Lamps
Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to Aaron and say to him, WHEN YOU SET UP THE LAMPS, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.” Numbers 8:1-2

Proverbs 20:27: “A LAMP OF GOD, the soul of man.”

The spiritual significance of the commandment of lighting the menorah is that one should be a “lamplighter” who ignites that latent potential within “the soul (soul: spirit – the breath of God, divine inspiration) of man, a lamp of God” Proverbs 20:27.

In teaching and influencing a fellow Believer, the objective should be to establish him or her as a self-sufficient luminary: to assist in developing their talents and abilities so that their lamp independently glows and, in turn, kindles the potential in others.

The flame surges upwards, as if to tear free from the wick and lose itself in the great expanses of energy that gird the heavens. But even as it strains heavenward, it is already pulling back, tightening its grip on the wick and drinking thirstily of the oil in the lamp, oil that sustains its continued existence as an individual flame.

The wick, if ignited, would flare briefly and die, utterly consumed. As for the oil, one would find it extremely difficult to ignite at all. But when wick and oil are brought together in the lamp, they produce a controlled and steady light.

The soul of man is a lamp of God whose purpose in life is to illuminate the world with divine light. God provided us with the “fuel” that generates His light — the Torah and its commandments, which embody His wisdom and will and convey His luminous truth.

The divine oil requires a “wick”, a physical body(physical minds that study it and comprehend it, physical mouths that debate it and teach it, and physical media that publish it and disseminate it) to channel its substance and convert it into an illuminating flame; but for the divine will to be manifest in our world, there must be physical hands that actualize it and physical materials with which it is actualized.

To realize its role as a “lamp of God,” a human life must be a lamp that combines a physical existence (the “wick”) with the divine ideas and deeds of Torah (the “oil”). When the wick is saturated with oil and feeds its spiritual yearnings with a steady supply of the same, the resultant flame is both luminous and sustainable, preserving the existence and productivity of the wick and illuminating the corner of the world in which it has been placed.

“love the Lord your God... for He is your life” Deuteronomy 30:20.

Our lives are rendered into burning lamps, alight with flames that waver from heaven to earth and back again and illuminate the world in the process.

Therein lies the specialty of the commandment of kindling the lamps of the menorah in the Holy Temple. Every commandment generates light.

Every morning, a priest filled the menorah’s seven lamps with the purest olive oil; in the afternoon, he would climb a three-step foot-ladder to kindle the menorah’s lamps. The seven flames burned through the night, symbolizing the Divine light which radiated from the Holy Temple to the world.

When the Kohen (priests who serve in the Temple) came to kindle the menorah’s lamps each afternoon in the Holy Temple, he found them fully prepared for lighting: earlier in the day, the lamps had been cleaned and filled with oil, and fresh wicks had been inserted. All he had to do was bring near the flame he carried, so that its proximity to the waiting lamp would unleash the potential for illumination which the lamp already holds.

Therein lies an important lesson to the spiritual lamplighter: do not think that you are achieving anything that your fellow could not, in truth, achieve on his own; do not think that you are giving him something he does not already possess. The soul of your fellow is a ready lamp, filled with the purest oil and equipped with all that is required to convert its fuel into a blazing flame. It only lacks the proximity of another lamp to ignite it. If your own soul is alight, its contact with another’s soul will awaken its potential for light, so that it may illuminate its surroundings and kindle other souls, in turn.

It is written, “If I say, ‘Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,’
‘Nor does DARKNESS obscure for You; the night shines as the DAY, DARKNESS IS AS LIGHT.’” Psalms 139:12

DARKNESS (darkness: figuratively – misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness)

DAY (day: luminous, glorious)

To the Church in Ephesus
“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: ‘The words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands.

2 “‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. 3 I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name's sake, and you have not grown weary. 4 But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. 6 Yet this you have: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.’ Revelation 2:1-7

God warned that He might remove the lampstand of a congregation if they continue in sin and refuse to repent.  As Jesus told the church at Ephesus: “I am coming to you, and will remove your lampstand out of its place — unless you repent.” Revelation 2:5

Those who are His followerscontinually grow in obedience, love, joy, and peace, becoming more and more like Jesus.

It is therefore, that love, joy, and peace that shines forth through a dark and dreary world like a beacon of hope.  It makes others desire the Source of that goodness.

1 John 2:6
“whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he (Jesus) walked.”

Hebrews 12:14
“Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.”

When a person builds a house, he makes the windows narrow on the outside and wider on the inside (a picture of a life without God), so that the light from the outside should optimally illuminate the interior. But when King Solomon built the Holy Temple in Jerusalem he made the windows narrow within and wide without, so that its light should emanate to the outside and illuminate the world (a picture of a life with God).

Jacob then blessed his two grandsons and added the following words: "With you, Israel will bless, saying, 'May G-d make you like Ephraim and like Manasseh.'"  This is why we bless our sons with the words: "May G-d make you like Ephraim and Manasseh."

Perhaps one might say that the highlight of their character is their remarkable upbringing.  They were born and raised in Egypt, in a profoundly secular society, a place where the people were not of high character.  Yet they remained faithful to the morals and ideals that were espoused by their grandfather Jacob, as they were transmitted through their father Joseph.  To be great amongst great people is also a challenge, but to maintain a high level of spirituality and character amongst  a society that is devoid of morals and ethics is the real test.  This is why Jacob chose these two boys to be his own.  They were able to prove true strength of character.  How does one know if a fish is healthy?  If it can swim upstream; again the tide of society.                                                                                                                                     chased.org

And as the Spirit of God was Moving, we also discovered something even more "Amazing", the "Mind and Heart of the Father":

"Do you believe that the Torah is eternal?"
"Do you believe that its every word applies to every individual, under all conditions, at all times?"
"But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, 'Where are you?'" GENESIS 3:9
"Where are you?" explains the Rebbe, "is G-d's perpetual call to every man.  Where are you in the world?  What have you accomplished?  You have been allotted a certain number of days, hours, and minutes in which to fulfill your mission in life.  You have lived so many years and so many days  - Where are you?  What have you attained?"

What Were We Chosen To Do?
We are not a Chosen People, but a People who have been Given a tremendous (“Chosen”) responsibility and are being held to a High (“Chosen”) Standard of Living, not meaning Privileged or Noble, understanding that there is no word for “Rights” in Hebrew, but rather we have “Been Chosen to the Great Theological Revolution that the Bible Represents”, or simply, “Chosen for More Commandments, for More Intimacy” in abiding in our love with and for God, through His teaching and instruction (law), “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.  If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.  These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full,” (Jesus) John 15:9-11. We are a Kingdom of Ministers, a Kingdom of Servants (“you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation,” Exodus 19:6, “you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light,” 1 Peter 2:4-10), therefore we have been Chosen to “Be Holy” as God is Holy, as it is read, “Be holy because I, Yahweh your God, am holy,” Leviticus 19:2, and “Therefore you are to be holy (“complete”, “fully mature”, “set apart”, “merciful”), as your heavenly Father is holy (“complete”, “fully mature”, “set apart”, “merciful”),” Matthew 5:48 & Luke 6:36, like God in all the earth (“For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son,” Genesis 1:27, Psalms 82:6, Romans 8:29, 1 John 2:5-6), Ambassadors (“we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us,” Isaiah 42:6; Isaiah 49:6; Isaiah 52:10; Isaiah 60:3, 2 Corinthians 5:20, 1 Thessalonians 2:4, Acts 1:8), the Light of the World (“You are the light of the world,” (Jesus) Matthew 5:14-16, John 8:12; Acts 13:47; Acts 26:23), “CHOSEN for a tremendous responsibility, for a higher standard of living, for more commandments,” (“teaching them to observe all the I have commanded you,” (Jesus) Matthew 28:20,  observe: I keep, guard, observe, keep watch over, continue keeping guard over, preserve, and I have commanded*: to order, command to be done, enjoin (to direct or impose by authoritative order or with urgent admonition (gentle or friendly reproof, counsel or warning against fault or oversight)).
* ex. Deuteronomy 30:11-20, “If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today, by loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you,” statutes: Divine law was first given to us encapsulated in the Ten Commandments, which were etched by the hand of God in two tablets of stone . . . When something is written, the substance of the letters that express it – the ink – remains a separate entity from the substance upon which they have been set – the parchment.  On the other hand, letters engraved in stone are forged in it: the words are stone and the stone is words . . . By the same token, there is an aspect of Torah that is “inked” on our soul; we understand it, our emotions are roused by it; it becomes our “lifestyle” or even our “personality”; but it remains something additional to ourselves.  But there is a dimension of Torah that is statutes, engrave in our being.  There is a dimension of Torah which expresses a bond with G-d that is the very essence of a believer’s soul (ex. Exodus 31:18, Exodus 32:16, Jeremiah 31:33, 2 Corinthians 3:3-9).

The 8th Day of Passover, "The Feast of the Messiah"
“For seven days eat bread made without yeast and on the seventh day hold a festival to the LORD.”  (Exodus 13:6)
. . . this last day of Passover is our festival commemorating the final redemption, when the Holy One, Blessed be He, will redeem us from the last exile through our righteous Messiah, who is the final redeemer.

The True Meaning of Lukwarmness
15 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. (Revelation 3:15-22)
The Letter to the Church at Laodicea
(the church of “human rights" – 1948 to The Second Coming of the Messiah (Christ))
“Lukewarm”– Jesus’ words here, rather than a call to hot personal commitment and revival, confront a social sickness in the church the “Springs” from embracing the lifestyle for the Wealthy and Elite.  This sickness is especially hard to detect because the church appears to be numerically healthy and self-sufficient.  But with respect to the gospel and the Kingdom mission, it is “Wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked”.

To be spiritually healthyis to be either “Cold” or “Hot”.  To be spiritually sick is to be “Lukewarm”.  Lukewarmnessis not an ancient metaphor for indifference. “Lukewarm”here means so Prosperous and supposedly Self-Sufficient as “to be completely out of fellowship with Jesus”.

The LukewarmLaodicean church was compromised by the status quo ways of the Roman Empire, fully embracing the lifestyle and value of the elite and powerful; and thus, lukewarmness is a “Temptation” that the church has always faced.

The living water that Jesus offers can quickly become tainted by Indulging in the Wealth and Power of the Empire (kingdoms of this world).  And that’s because Empire Wealth and Power are “Signs” of “Allegiance” to a kingdom (Pearl) other than the Kingdom of God (Pearl of Great Price – parallel Kingdom Parable to this time in Church History – Matthew 13:45-46).

The Laodicean’s spiritual disease and disorder of the body and mind was not a lack of individual moral or spiritual commitment, but the collective compromise with Empire (an all-embracing group under a single supreme authority or controlled by one person) Values that put them out of step with the Kingdom (teaching, instruction, rule) of God.
- Biblegateway.com/blog/2017/06/what-lukewarm-in-laodicea-really-means
How to Overcome:

21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’” (Revelation 3:21-22)

  1. “Be Zealous and Repent” v. 19 (passionately stop doing life your way and passionately start doing life God’s Way, ex. Revelation 3:17, “For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.”).
  2. “Buy” (to frequent the literal “Kingdom of God”  (the Word of God) marketplace and properly buy (acquire/learn/apply)):
a. Buy from Me. . . Gold Refined by Fire, “Gold” spiritually meaning “Wisdom & Love” (ref. Proverbs 3:13-14, 16:16; Psalm 19:7-11, 119:127; Job 23:10, 28:12-15, ex. Revelation 3:18 “I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich.”).

b. Buy from Me. . . White Garments, “White Garments” spiritually meaning “His Commandments” (teaching & instruction) (ref. (KJV) Revelation 7:14, 12:17, 14:12, 22:14, ex. Revelation 3:18“I counsel you to buy from me . . . white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen.”).

c. Buy from Me. . . Salve, “Salve” (eye ointment to promote healing and protection) spiritually meaning “Understanding & Obedience” (ref. Ephesians 6:6, Colossians 3:22, Matthew 6:22-23, 13:16; Isaiah 6:10, ex. Revelation 3:18“I counsel you to buy from me . . . salveto anoint your eyes, so that you may see.”).

"20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher. 21 And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left." Isaiah 30:20-21
The success of this word: "It shall not only be spoken, but thy ears shall hear it; whereas God has formerly spoken once, yea, twice, and thou hast not perceived it, now thou shalt listen attentively to these secret whispers, and hear them with an obedient ear," (Job 33:14-33). If God gives us not only the word, but the hearing ear, not only the means of grace, but a heart to make a good use of those means, we have reason to say, He is very gracious to use, and reason to hope he has yet further mercy in store for us.
"31 Pay attention, O Job, listen to me; be silent, and I will speak. 32 If you have any words, answer me; speak, for I desire to justify you. 33 If not, listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom." Job 30:31-33

"He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' . . . For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities.  For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:1-10

Hanukkah (Feast of Dedication – Feast of Lights) - I and the Father Are One
“22 At that time the Feast of Dedication took place at Jerusalem. It was winter, 23 and Jesus was walking in the temple. . . 24 So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.” 25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. . . 26 but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, . . . 30 I and the Father are one.” 31 The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, . . . 36 do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?” John 10:22-39
God is light – What does that mean?
The phrase "God is light" appears in 1 John 1:5, where the apostle John is explaining that the message we have from Jesus Christ is that God is light and there is no darkness in Him at all. Light is the nature and character of God. He is not a light or a kind of light; He is light itself. All light comes from Him. At the beginning of time, He created the light to dispel the darkness and chaos that was over all the earth (Genesis 1:1–5). Then He created the lights in the sky, the sun, moon, and stars (Genesis 1:14–16). As light itself and the source of light, He had only to speak and light came into being.

Revelation 21:23
“23 And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb.”

Isaiah 60:19
“19 The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give you light; but the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.”

Revelation 22:5
“5 And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.”

Genesis 32:4-36:43, Jacob knew that his particular vision in life was too actualize the enormous positive potential locked within his externally wicked brother.  He also know that the moment he achieved this, the entire world would be transformed for the better.

If you want to create a nuclear explosion, all you need to do is split a single atom.  That will set in motion a chain-reaction in billions of other atoms and transform the face of the earth over an area of many square miles.

In the same way, we have each been allotted our own "portion of the world" - the material resources we possess, the talents and capabilities with which we have been endowed, the circle of family members, friends, and colleagues whom we interact with and influence.  Transforming the nature of reality in our own slice of the world will transform the nature of reality in the entirety of G-d's creation.

Yes, feeding the one child will mitigate the hunger of every hungry child in the world.  Saying that one kind world will soften every insult uttered on the face of the earth.  Doing that one good deed will nullify all the evil in the universe.  Because the world is one, and you are the world. - Lubavitcher Rebbe

3 Year Anniversary of Springs of Living Water
November 17, 2018

"14 Your offspring shall be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south, and in you and your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” 16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” 17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

18 So early in the morning Jacob took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up for a pillar and poured oil on the top of it. 19 He called the name of that place Bethel, but the name of the city was Luz at the first. 20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear, 21 so that I come again to my father's house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God, 22 and this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God's house. And of all that you give me I will give a full tenth to you.”  Genesis 28:14-22

Ecclesiastes 7:14-18, 29, “In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.  In my vain life I have seen everything.  There is a righteous man who perishes in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man who prolongs his life in his evildoing.  Be not overly righteous, and do not make yourself too wise.  Why should you destroy yourself?  Be not overly wicked, neither be a fool.  Why should you die before your time?  It is good that you should take hold of this and from that withhold not your hand, for the one who fears God shall come out from both of them . . . See, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes.”

Here we find that God has made both prosperity and adversity, that man may not be at any certainty concerning future events, but may live in a dependence upon God and be ready for whatever happens.  In fact, God instructs us here to “take hold” of each circumstance (prosperous or adversity), as well as, “withhold not your hand”, which defined is to “take hold of” or “take possession of”, like beams in a wall that hold a wall in position.  In essence, owning our prosperity and our adversity for the glory and purposes of the Lord, without doubt that God is in the Midst of those circumstances and Working them for your Good, and ultimately His Glory. But here we are, most importantly, given the driving force to make it through both circumstances, the “fear of God”, which defined is “awesome”, “awesome acts”, “awesome things”, in simple, those who stand in “AWE” of God in the midst of both prosperity and adversity, that they WILL Escape or Be Freed from all of them, in-spite of their not knowing their out come.  As it is defined, Becoming Known, as we “Go” and as we “Come Out” that God is “Revealed” and “Unveiled” in and through our lives, as the Light of the World that He is calling us to Be, declaring “God’s Good Works” and not our own.

Further, in Isaiah 51:14, we read, “He who is bowed down shall speedily be released . . .”, which we understand here that the “Exiled” will soon be set free, or better being described as “the Wanderer being practiced, skilled, trained, taught to be set free”.  The word “bowed” defined is “one who is stooped under a burden, tipped over for the purpose of spilling or pouring out”.  Therefore, those who submit to being practiced, skilled, trained, and taught to be set free through their circumstances, like a water pitcher, which's purpose is to serve and bring Refreshment, will see their Freedom “Speedily”, fully equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17), in bring about the Glory of God in all the Earth.

Together, through these two portions of Scripture, we learn from the Lord that He alone creates Prosperity and Adversity for the purpose of demonstrating His Glory and Might in and through each one of our lives, if we would only allow Him to use us, as we were created, “Bowed” with the following purpose, “And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.  "My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places,” Isaiah 32:17-18.  The net result of all things, therefore, should be  “Peace”, “Quietness”, and “Trust Forever” as God’s chosen people, those who have answered the Call (“For many are called, but few are chosen,” Matthew 22:14, or “few have actually answered the call”), His royal priesthood, His Light in the World, without doubt or fear, and complete and fully equipped for His “Awesome” works, that He might be “Revealed” and “Unveiled” in and through our lives, the Light of the World. - Ryan Roberts
